The lyrics were compiled from two separate songs. The first half was written on the side of the road on the first day of highschool in 2003. I was wearing fairy wings.

Later, the lyrics, "When everything's a private joke" were inspired when I was laughing to myself walking around Cabrillo college in 2011. We first combined the two parts in 2013.
